The College of Westchester is pleased to announce the approval to grant the Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting Degree by the NYS Education Department.
CW’s ability to grant the Bachelor’s degree in Accounting will enhance the educational opportunities it provides students, while remaining true to its mission to offer a curriculum that provides marketable skills and career-ready education.
“Accounting is the backbone of every business or entity whether profit or non-profit,” says President Karen J. Smith. “Offering a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting widens our student’s career opportunities. The future of accounting is bright, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which projects a 16% increase in job openings by the year 2016. The College has served thousands of students, and this achievement will help us to serve many more in an area with fantastic career potential.”
