Dr. Al Pisano, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley, presented to the CW community a lecture about Communicating to Diverse Audiences and Cultures Around the World.
Dr. Pisano discussed effective communications in the current global, multicultural business environment, as well as two of his current projects - Geothermal Energy and the Rebuilding Japan Program. In addition, he answered many thoughtful questions posed by the audience consisting of many faculty, staff, and students. In fact, he commented, “I’m happy. They asked me questions no one has before; they didn’t assume I had all the answers. That’s a good thing.”
When visiting New York in the future, Dr. Pisano graciously offered to visit CW and present again. He mentioned he has 15 other topics that may be of interest to our community.
