Students were honored for their academic achievements and contributions to student life during fall term at the Student Reward Assembly, which was facilitated by Assistant Director for Student Activities, Mr. Terry Keyes. President Karen Smith named Sharnice M. as the winner of the CW Scholarship Fund Art competition and Dean of Student Academic Services Jean Carlson bestowed the Student of the Semester Award upon Esperanza C. Perfect Attendance Award winners were announced and those who made outstanding contributions to student activities and clubs earned SGA Spirit Awards, after which club leaders introduced their organizations and students had an opportunity to sign up for club membership. Some of the clubs that are being offered this semester are SGA/SGA Newspaper, Accounting, Allied Health, Animation, Caribbean Student Association (CSA), Instrumentals, Creative Evolution (Fashion Club), Just Dance Crew, PTK, Poetry Club and many more.
If you missed out on joining a club don't worry, it is still not too late to join! Just visit the Cruiser page of the club that you're interested in and click the button "Request to Join". This can be found under the above "Campus Life" tab, "All Clubs" section, or see Terence Keyes in Career Services on the third floor.
