The faculty of The College of Westchester (CW) has selected Esperanza Cruz of Yonkers as CW’s Student of the Semester. In an effort to recognize Esperanza for her outstanding achievements, Karen J. Smith, President of The College of Westchester, presented Esperanza with a gift certificate and letter of recognition.
Espy earned her Associate’s degree in Business at CW in 1998. She considers herself very fortunate to have received the chance to intern with the College Registrar, while working on her Associate’s degree. This opportunity opened the door to a part-time job in the Academic Center which turned into a full-time job, and now Espy has worked at CW in the Evening/Saturday College for fourteen years.
Espy enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program and will be completing her BBA degree in April. Congratulations Espy!
