CW Takes a Trip to Albany
Four CW students joined a graduate and two administrators on a trip to Albany to discuss the importance of the TAP financial aid program with state legislators. Students Gregory Grant, Reshida Jones, Charlene Marte, and Sharnice Mickens, along with alumna Mairelis Chavez were accompanied by Ms. Maria Gangi, Associate Director of Admissions, and Mr. Terry Keyes, Assistant Director for Student Activities, at meetings with lawmakers. Sharing personal stories of how much TAP funding has helped our students, the CW team took an important stand on behalf of students throughout New York State.
