The One-Sentence Story contest is back again with another batch of full stories in just one sentence. The winners from each lab are presented here for your reading and voting pleasure.
This semester’s stories celebrate topics far and wide, ranging from the raging passions of love to the heartbreak of death mingled with the dark taint of crime, the loss of youthful imagination to the horrors and hope of the emergency room. One story burrows itself deeply into the power of words to disgust while another is a riddle celebrating the qualities of anthropomorphism (Ha! How often does one get to use that word?). Only six stories, but oh-so much variety.
Click on the One-Sentence Story you most enjoy and cast your ballot. You are the kingmaker; the power to choose our best one-sentence story writer is in your hands. But please remember, with great power comes great responsibility.
