Mecca attended high school at the Millennium Art Academy in the Bronx in order to further enhance her artistic skills. Mecca was active in the school newspaper providing articles and drawing cartoon strips for the Millennium Voice. Mecca also achieved the Honors Roll each year.
Mecca decided to enroll in The College of Westchester because the Digital Media program offered courses in specific software programs like Flash and Illustrator which she wanted to learn more about.
While at CW, Mecca has been a member of the Digital Media Club, and she has earned the Spirit Award and the Perfect Attendance Award. Mecca has also achieved the President’s List each semester with a perfect 4.00 grade point average.
Mecca loves to illustrate comic books and plans on being a cartoonist in the future. She is currently earning commissions for her online photography work and is looking forward to the next stage of her career.
