Toy Drive Success!

Once again the CW community’s generosity helped make the holidays a special time for disadvantaged children. The CW Toy Drive sponsored by the Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society was completed as P.J. Collins, a representative from New York Hurricane Relief gratefully accepted a big box of toys from SGA Moderator Terry Keyes and PTK moderator Judith Lilleston for families in the Rockaways still traumatized by Hurricane Sandy. Additionally, a team of combined SGA/PTK students delivered bags of toys to Assistant Nurse Manager Reema Joseph in the Pediatrics Ward at White Plains Hospital. The students will long remember delivering toys to the bedside of sick children who responded with wide smiles and glimmering eyes.
