The College of Westchester

Marc Civil (left) is a BBA in Accounting student who will be graduating in December of this year. Marc graduated from Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT in 2010, and attended Housatonic Community College before transferring to CW in January 2011. Marc has been an active and positive member of the CW community, both academically and socially, including his role as Captain of the CW Warriors Basketball team and President of the Accounting Society. Marc is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and has achieved Dean’s List and President’s List recognition. Marc currently works at Capital Grill, but plans on continuing his accounting education after earning his Bachelor’s to work as a Certified Public Accountant. Marc credits his three uncles for motivating him to achieve academic success.

Janet Ramirez (right) is a Medical Assistant Management student who will be graduating December of this year. Janet graduated from Saunders High School in Yonkers, NY in 2007. Janet enrolled at CW in January 2012, and has been an active member in the Allied Health Club and the Student Government Association. Janet is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, and has earned Dean’s List and President’s List recognition. Janet plans on continuing her education and pursuing nursing, with a special interest in Pediatrics. Janet credits her parents for their support and acknowledges her 10-month old son, Alexis, for motivating her to succeed.
