Special thanks to the PTK Honor Society and the Allied Health students for representing CW at the recent Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Orchard Beach in The Bronx. “It was chilly but comfortable weather for a walk,” said Margarida Oliveira, president of PTK Honor Society. All participants enjoyed refreshments, free snacks, music, and were moved by hearing personal stories related to autism, “We heard two speakers talk about their journey of raising their kids with autism. It was touching and made us realize why we are walking and why we raised the money for this cause.”
