Help Make a Stride Against Breast Cancer

On Sunday, October 18th, the American Cancer Society is once agin hosting their Westchester walk against breast cancer.

The walk will be held at Manhattanville College.

Diabetes Walk

The 2009 ADA Westchester County Walk will take place on Sunday, October 25.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., and the walk starts at 10:00 a.m.

This annual walk is a non-competitive 3K event to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes and improving the lives of all people affected by the disease.

Here's how to get involved:

• Form a walk team of 5 or more people for the 2009 Step Out event this fall and start fundraising!
• Volunteer—We are looking for energetic people who are passionate about the fight against diabetes to join our planning committee as well as a corporate Chair.
• Partner with ADA as a Corporate Sponsor and help us fund our mission while showing your community that you care about making a difference in the fight against diabetes.
