A handful of CW students are currently attending the 2010 TAP Campaign in Albany to fight against the new state budget. Please support and cheer our students on as they continue to vigorously urge lawmakers to continue investing in the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).

Welcome Dr. Ferguson!

This week Dr. Natasha Ferguson joined the CW Community as the new Practicum Coordinator for the Allied Health Department. She is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, holding a Bachelor’s in Biology and minors in Biochemistry and Psychology.

Recently, Dr. Ferguson graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree. While attending school, Dr. Ferguson began her research in Endocrinology and Female Reproduction at Montefiore Medical Center and Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center located in the Bronx. She continues to do research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

CW Welcomes New Employees!

This fall, the College of Westchester welcomes Helena Amorim, Admissions Advisor, and Linda Dowdell, E/S Business Department Chair to the CW team.

Helena Amorim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from SUNY Purchase. For the past four years, she has been working as a Medical Administrative Assistant at a Chiropractic Center in White Plains, which serves the New York Yankees!

CW is thrilled to welcome these two new employees to the community!

Great Softball Game & BBQ

Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed this year's annual Softball Game & Barbecue at Delfino Park, with the Faculty/Staff team winning by a 10-3 score. The students can work for a victory next year!
