Announcing the Executive Bachelors Degree in a New Hybrid Form

According to a meta-analysis conducted by the U.S. Department of Education, online learning can have many advantages over face-to-face classroom instruction. Students taking some or all of their course online did better than those taking the same course in a physical classroom, and students taking “blended” courses—those combining elements of both types—did best of all.

The College of Westchester (CW) prides itself on rising to meet students’ ever-evolving needs. That’s why CW now offers the Executive BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in a new Hybrid format. With Class sizes remaining small, this new format offers greater flexibility and convenience to students without changing the highly personal environment of the CW classroom experience.

Lynn enjoyed her Hybrid class, “The course material was pretty straightforward,” she says, “and if we had any questions about the assignments the professor was always there when we needed her.”

Adds CW student Alex, “The beauty of hybrid classes is that they are not completely online. There is a professor in the classroom half of the time so students don't feel like they have to teach themselves as can be the case in a completely online course. As a working adult student taking classes in the evening and on Saturdays, I already have a busy schedule, so the convenience of the hybrid format is very attractive. Hybrid classes are still challenging with half the class time, however you can find more time to complete assignments than a traditional class.”
