CW Welcomes Parents

CW welcomed new day students' parents to the college as a way to provide an opportunity for the parents to learn more about their students' educational experience here at the college.

It was a huge success as over one hundred family members were in attendance. The Orientation included a welcome from President Karen Smith and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Joann Mulqueen. An overview of the program was shared by Dean of Student Academic Services Jean Carlson, and Assistant Dean Daphne Galkin.

The Orientation also included a student panel where students Carolyn Bruno and Fitzroy Richards spoke out and shared their personal educational stories with the audience. Family members were able to talk one-on-one with faculty and student coaches as they were given a better sense of what CW is all about.
