Matt Wallach is a much appreciated guest speaker, who has been invited to Dr. Smikle’s BBA environmental science course (BUS 310) for the last three semesters—during the Day and E/Saturday programs. Matt is the Hudson Valley Program Coordinator for the Citizens Campaign for the Environment – Hudson Valley region (CCE – HV). CCV-HV is a nonpartisan, non-profit environmental advocacy group located in downtown White Plains.
Established 25 years ago by a small cadre of concerned citizens, CCE-HV maintains its grass roots heritage by conducting door to door outreach, education and fundraising on relevant environmental concerns such as pesticide use, global warming, clean water, plastic bags, and other quality of life environmental issues. CCE-HV also lobbies for environmentally supportive legislation on behalf of Hudson Valley residents.
