English Comp. I Classes Take a Trip

Two of Ms. Sinopoli's English Composition I classes visited the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, New York, where students viewed the survey, Lagrimas Negras, and learned about a leading Mexican artist, Betsabee Romero. This brilliant artist used various automobile parts, including tires, to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pantings, sculptures, and photographs which are recognized and sold around the world.

Students found both artists' ability to take garbage, waste, and recyclable materials and turn them into works of arts amazing. It shows that objects that could potentially ruin or pollute our planet can also beautify and inspire.

"These projects help tremendously in many ways, not only in our environment, but also in the community. I definitely enjoyed it. It teaches a lot about using what you least expect to inspire others and help humanity."
