CW Warriors Start Their Season Off Right

The CW Warriors started their season on the right track with a hard fought win over Blue Sky Studios. The Warriors ran out to a quick 14-5 lead, but Blue Sky scored the next nine points to tie the game. It was 33-29 Warriors at the half, but Blue Sky came back to tie again at 37-37 about six minutes into the second half. Then the Warriors closed the game with a 20-6 run, sparked by suffocating defense that forced Blue Sky into numerous turnovers, to make the final score 57-43 in favor of CW. Darnell Dixon led the Warriors in scoring with 13 points. Marc Civil added 12, Samuel Brito-Gby had 11 (and 12 rebounds), Travis Taylor chipped in with 10, and Kemique Jacobs had 9 (and 10 rebounds).
