Students Nominated to Phi Theta Kappa's All-USA Community College Academic Team

Congratulations to Mecca Alim and Emely Rodriguez who have been nominated to Phi Theta Kappa’s All-USA Community College Academic Team. Both of these young women have excelled in their coursework and are active members of Beta Pi Gamma, CW’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.

The All-USA Community College Academic Team is presented by USA TODAY and Phi Theta Kappa and sponsored by Follett Higher Education Group. Twenty students will be selected to the national team, each receiving a $2,500 scholarship and medallion. The students will be featured in the USA TODAY newspaper and presented at the Phi Theta Kappa‘s President Breakfast held during the Annual Convention of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) April22, 2013 in San Francisco, Ca.
