The Huffington Post has published the Top 50 Most Social CIOs in Higher Education and CW’s CIO Kelly Walsh is on top of the list! The online news site lists Kelly as number 3 of such a competitive list of the best thinkers of Higher Education IT. His vision and wisdom is greatly appreciated as it has caused to position The College of Westchester in the midst of online conversations throughout the nation.
Kelly Walsh has been overseeing CW's Information Technology Department since June of 2008. He also recently began teaching as an Adjunct instructor. Shortly after joining the college, Walsh started independently publishing a blog/website at EmergingEdTech.com, where he shares his passion for engaging students and enhancing learning outcomes through the use of emerging Internet and instructional technologies. Kelly occasionally speaks and conducts workshops about a variety of education technology topics at schools and conferences across the U.S.
