Local business owners Jill Singer, Jill Singer Graphics; Mike Dardano, BuzzPotential; Greg Chartier, The Office of Gregory J. Chartier HR Consulting; and Ugo Chiulli, Progressive Computing participated in a Q&A-style panel discussion at CW on Thursday evening 10/24. The four spoke about the benefits, challenges and best practices involved with starting and owning a business and managing staff and freelancers, and offered their advice to students who are thinking about becoming entrepreneurs or want to advance their careers as effective employees. Hillary Millman arranged the event for her Intro to Business Ventures class and invited Howard Millman and his Oral Communications class to participate as well. About 30 students attended.
