As part of wrapping-up activities for this term, the Business Club/Enactus team celebrated their last meeting and started planning for the next semester. Enactus is an international non-profit organization whose purpose is to partner students/educators, corporate partners and small business/non-profits to enable progress through entrepreneurial action. The team at CW had the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas from Enactus staff in Springfield, MO via Zoom. Kaleb Valdez, Merry Tucker and Megan Edwards shared information about Enactus benefits for students, how to recruit new members for the club, and different activities to promote the program among students and local businesses. The Business Club/Enactus team spoke about their work with a local bakery in Bronxville that includes revamping the bakery’s website and social media platforms, as well as different marketing strategies during peak hours. Besides the marketing assistance, the business is also receiving financial support from Enactus.
