Congratulations to Day Students of Semester, Christian Evans & Lerika Hahn Abada!

Christian Evans is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Digital Media.  Christian currently has a 4.0 GPA and was awarded President’s List recognition in the prior semester.  Christian is a prior CW graduate, having earned his Associate degree in Digital Media in 2013.  Christian is currently a work study student at the White Plains YMCA, where he is able to put his skills to good use in their marketing department.  Christian is interested in developing his own multimedia production company, focusing on contemporary art, fashion, graphic design, and movies.  Christian is also planning to pursue a graduate degree at his dream school, the University of Miami, as, in his words, “they can’t tell me no with a 4.0!”  Christian would like to thank his former academic advisor, Antonia Croghan for “being the constant that helped me finish.”

Lerika is in the Digital Media Associate degree program with a specific interest in graphic design, and immigrated to the United States four years ago from the Philippines.  Lerika has a 4.0 GPA and was awarded President’s List recognition in the prior semester.  After completing her associate, Lerika plans on continuing in the BBA program here at CW with a concentration in Digital Media.  Upon completing her studies at CW, Lerika hopes to earn a master’s degree that will prepare her to own her own graphic design company.  Lerika would like to recognize her family for their support and Prof. Torres and her admissions counselor, Seloi Beckford, for their encouragement of her academic pursuits.
