Anna Bravo (left in photo) - Bachelor's Degree
Anna Bravo was born in Italy and grew up in the U.S.  She attended Mount Vernon High School and graduated from CW in 1990 with an Associate Degree in Computerized Office Administration.  Anna decided to pursue her Bachelor’s degree and is currently enrolled in the Health Care Administration program and is due to graduate in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.    During her enrollment in the BBA program, she has maintained a 4.0 GPA, perfect attendance, and was recently inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.  Anna is married and has two wonderful boys, Mario (16), and Vincent (11) and resides in Thornwood, NY.  Through her hard work and perseverance, Anna is hoping to instill in her children the significance of education.

Marlene Rivera (right in photo) - Associate Degree
With a passion to help and serve people, Marlene enrolled in the Medical Assistant Management program at CW and will receive her Associate Degree this coming May. She was born in Norwalk, Connecticut and moved to New York as a teenager. Later on Marlene moved to White Plains where she attended White Plains High School obtaining an advanced regents honor diploma.

Once she toured The College of Westchester, Marlene decided to stay and pursue her college degree. Marlene says that her conversations with a counselor and reviewing the flexibility of schedules were the main deciding factors to make CW her home.

At the moment, Marlene is not 100% decided on her career goal. She knows that she enjoys helping others, so she will probably come back to CW to finish her Bachelor’s Degree. Right now, Marlene is looking forward to enjoying the moment she receives her Associate Degree this coming May.

Marlene is a wife, a mother of three, and a student here at CW. Her husband Francisco has supported her every step of the way. Marlene comments that her three beautiful children are the main reason she went back to college. She wants to be a role model and give them a better future.
