A team of CW students and a graduate traveled to Albany on March 7 and joined other members of the Association of Proprietary Colleges to talk with state legislators about the importance of TAP funding before the lawmakers make final decisions on the annual state budget. Accompanied by Maria Gangi, Associate Director of Admissions, Terry Keyes, Assistant Director for Student Activities, and alumna Deirdre Aldana who serves as an Admissions Assistant, the students received accolades from lawmakers for their eloquence, passion for education, and commitment to current and future students.
Many thanks to our CW student representatives, who included Michael Adebiyi, Carolyn Bruno, Mairelis Chaves, Reshida Jones, and Carlos Vidot!
