Congratulations to Day Student of Semester, Erika Alexander

Erika is in the Business Administration-Management/Marketing program at CW, which she started in September 2012 after graduating from St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx. Erika is currently a member of Phi Theta Kappa and has earned Dean’s List and President’s List recognition, with a current cumulative GPA of 3.92. Erika currently works as a College Aid at the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and aspires to ultimately have a career in television, where she can meet new people and help other achieve their dreams.

Erika’s inspirational figure is Jeanille Bonterre, a television host from Trinidad & Tobago who has been on both MTV and BET networks. Erika is in the process of applying for the prestigious i3 Scholarship, an undergraduate research and leadership development program. Erika would like to express her gratitude to Dr. Judith Lilleston, Dr. Stacy Larson, and Professor Loretta Sinopoli for their academic support, as well as her parents who keep her on the right track and without whom she wouldn’t be where she is today.
