Computer Networking Café Success!
Computer Networking students who are graduating or recently graduated had an opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions with employers including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Robert Half Technology and Compufit. “It prepares them for interviews that they will be having in their field of choice. It’s an opportunity for them to ask questions to employers that they don’t normally get to ask during a job interview so it’s more of an informal interview,” said Roselle Glick, a career counselor and instructor who produced the Computer Networking Café. “I think students are really interested in knowing how to break into the field, what an entry level position looks like, and what’s the career growth opportunity for a help desk technician in a company,” added Glick.
