Students Take a Trip to Albany
As
the New York State legislature prepares its next annual budget, members
of the CW community traveled to Albany recently to meet with state
legislators about the importance of the Tuition Assistance Program
(TAP), accompanied by Mr. Perry Brown, Student Financial Assistance
Counselor, and Mr. Terry Keyes, Assistant Director for Student
Activities. Current students Kimberly Fenelon, Margarida Oliveira, and
Ryan Pink, along with graduate Tracy Gordon, explained to lawmakers in a
series of meetings how instrumental TAP was in earning their degrees
and requested that it be maintained continuously.
