Dr. Shamva Wright appointed to the National Healthcareer Association Subject Matter Expert Committee



The CW community congratulates Dr. Shamva Wright on her recent accomplishment.

The National Healthcareer Association (NHA) has been certifying healthcare professionals throughout the United States since 1989. They are known as the “Benchmark in healthcare certifications” assuring more competent healthcare providers. They work with over 1300 educational institutions helping them to develop curriculum, competency testing and certification preparation. Some of the high tech health careers certification offerings include phlebotomy, medical billing and coding, medical assisting, patient care technician, pharmacy technician, medical lab assistant, OR and Surgical Technician, EKG Technician, transcriptionist, and most recently Electronic Health Records Specialist.

  1. The cost of phlebotomy certification is most often included in the class registration fee and/or may be charged separetly dependent upon the training institute.

  2. Upon the successful completion of a phlebotomy training course individuals are eligible to sit for a phlebotomy certification exam.
