Go Red For Women

Last week, the Allied Health Club sponsored a fundraising event to support the American Heart Associations, Go Red for Women Day. This event was initiated by Dr. Shamva Wright which enabled the Allied Health members to raise awareness among students, staff and faculty of the importance of maintaining a healthy heart. Donations were collected through the sales of red dress pins, raffle, baked goods and testimonials.

A check in the amount of $564 was made to the American Heart Association in the name of Dr. Shamva Wright and The College of Westchester.
