CW's Medical Program Advances to Another Level

Once again, the Allied Health Department has taken the medical program to another level. Medical Assisting students were given the opportunity to observe a dissection of a cow’s heart in the Medical lab performed by Professor Michelle Fuhrman. The purpose of this demonstration was to foster a more comprehensive understanding of the body’s complex Cardiovascular system and give insight into the functionality of one of the most vital organs in the body. This was the very first anatomical tissue dissection for the Allied Health Department and The College of Westchester.
