Career Services hosted an Accounting Career Café led by Career Counselor Lisa Barner. The purpose of the event was to provide an intimate networking and mentorship opportunity for accounting students and accounting/finance professionals. A luncheon preceded roundtable discussions. Employers shared their own professional journeys and success stories while making suggestions for upcoming graduates to thrive in the workplace. Students took turns visiting each of the five employers tables for conversations. The feedback from the event was very positive from all attendees. Career Services looks forward to continuing to provide educational workshops such as these to our students!
