On Veterans Day, Americans across the nation are honoring the sacrifices and service of the nation’s armed forces with parades, wreath-laying ceremonies and other events. The College of Westchester contributed to honor and thank our Veterans during a ceremony organized by The Armed Forces Student Support Club. Veterans Day Celebration included the singing of the National Anthem by alumni, Deirdre Aldana, and opening remarks by CW’s VP, Mary Beth Del Balzo. During the ceremony attendees enjoyed inspirational words, anecdotes and a poem from faculty and staff of CW.

Associate Professor Justin Stone (United States Army)
“We have never ever stopped fighting, from the Revolution until today we’re still engaged somewhere”

Cameshia Smith (United States Marines)
