Students Visit Neuberger Museum
Students from English Composition I
class visited the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, NY recently to
view the "Robin Rhode: Animating the Everyday" exhibit.
Students
spent the afternoon viewing and discussing how Robin Rhode viewed and
expressed the world around him, the causes and effects of his work, and
how his work is similar to another artist, Carrie Mae Weems, who
recently exhibited her work at the Neuberger.
The
ultimate goal of the trip was to inspire students to think differently
and to hopefully create "art" by the words and images they choose.
