The Enactus team at CW keeps growing and adding students to support local businesses in the area while acquiring new skills in business sustainability and effective marketing campaigns. Lead by Prof. Paula Cancro, the Enactus team now includes the support of Prof. Maximino Torres and his students from Introduction to Business class.
Some of the activities for the rest of the summer include holding elections for a new and stronger team, reviewing the marketing campaign of a local business in Bronxville, who also received financial support from Enactus, and preparing for the chance to compete at the Enactus National Competition in April 2015. This is an event in St. Louis Missouri, where several Enactus teams from around the world meet to present the results of their community outreach projects to a prestigious group of international business leaders.
Enactus is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.
