LinkedIn or Left Out

Career experts agree that LinkedIn is an essential job search and networking tool. Not only can you instantly get the word out to hundreds, if not thousands of colleagues, and potential employers about your latest accomplishments, but your LinkedIn profile can also serve as a job magnet, since recruiters and hiring managers use the site for locating potential candidates.

This is why Career Services put together “LinkedIn or Left Out,” a workshop to show CW’s Alumni community how to get the most out of LinkedIn. The event took place at the Residence Inn Marriott in New Rochelle and included tips on how to reach out to business and employers, create recommendations, driving traffic to your profile, and what photos to use on your LinkedIn profile.
